this is just to settle and argument between me and my so called best mate who came up here to help out with the house. He wants £32 for laying 4 slabs, and he's not a professional builder by any means, had no training or qualifications. Im going to finish the job myself no problems, just thought id find out! | |

The smaller the slabs, the easier it is. Dig out your patch to whatever depth. I did about 1/2 an inch lawer than the slab. Spread a dry cement mix where you want the flags, level this off, put on flags, smack with big rubber mallet until level and leave it. | |
