go see the mortgage advice beuro, go through the estate agent that the house is advertised with, etc etc.

You should be able to get a mortgage on it provided you have a decent regular income, ood credit history and not massive amounts of outstanding debt.

Are you looking to live in it or to let it out once complete? If its the latter you will have difficulty getting a buy to let mortgage unless you have your own house as security.

go see atleast 3 advisors. I would be inclinded to get a fixed rate at this moment in time but make sure the tie in period is the same or less than the rate is fixed for. we are about to swap mortgages Matt

Just bought a gaff meself however i'm in ireland so things are different id say

go through a broker they will make u look like god to the banks:)
