Also try contacting the Land-lord directly if possible, they are normally more than happy to let you work directly with them as it saves them buckets of cash (assuming they feel comfortable with your situation).. | |

It depends on the wording of your current agreement and any terms and conditions you may have agreed to, but as a general rule, tell them you don't want a new tenancy agreement and you just want to let it roll over into a Statutory Periodic. | |

So if they say they need to charge I tell them to get stuffed? And if they argue is it best to say you'll leave so they waiver the "fee"? | |

Tell them you want a Statutory Periodic Tenancy - you are not legally obliged to renew every 6 months, 12 months or whatever; contrary to what they'd have you believe so they can charge you £75+VAT every 6 months for a copy and paste document. | |
