That's fair enough.
Had I not been fed up of the corsa and wanting rid, I'd have finished it off (in my eyes) and bought a cage instead.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't judge someone for spending their own hard earned on something they like and want in their home. I've just never really understood paying silly money for originals when prints are fine.

That is just me though. I understand other people have different views. I probably spend loads on other stuff instead (car bits/cleaning gear).

435 quid :! :| could not bring myself to spend that amount on what looks like an ikea print.

A little bit more, £435, but still thinking its worth it.

Going back in October for a dedication by Doug Hyde as he's attending the gallery :)

Got it hung up, looks great. I either end up staring at it for a bit or smile and walk off

Not the best pictures as the rooms a bit dark, they're from john lewis.

Love these - I used to love Roald Dahl books and the illustrations in them.

Here's a few others he has done, some of which are still for sale.

I have a collection of screen prints, a few of the ones reasonably valuable and a few are pretty easy to come by. Here's a couple of them:

Thats quite cool.

Artwork is very subjective. As long as you like it, thats really all that matters.

Now to get it hung in place :)

Anyone have any pieces, be them paintings or sculptures?

Toying with buying a piece which caught my eye over 6 months ago but I didn't think I should buy it at the time.
The meaning I see in the picture still remains and I think it's going to be helpful in reminding me of what I want. Albeit initially going backwards due to the price

Anyone who has any, do you think it was/still is worth it?
I can't see me ever wanting to sell it but if I did, I doubt it'd lose value massively.
