we find that the Wicks own brand Interior & Exterior Filler is better than the PolyFilla stuff. | |

Depends how deep the hole is. Polyfilla is usually used for deeper holes and you then use a product like easy fill to skim fill over the top | |

Our first attempt at doing this stuff was with the B&Q home brand and some value sandpaper, end result was no better or worse than what my step dad did in his old place with all the top brand stuff? | |

What grit sand paper are you using when your sanding it? You might need a finer sand paper? | |

I generally use Polycell Polyfilla, I have used the B&Q equivalent in the past. |
