I'd say go for a Pixie, and buy a separate aerrocino if you need to warm/froth milk.

They all do espressos and longer coffees (lungo's)

I have a tassimo, the costa caramel latte macchiato is nice, not been amazed by any of the others though, the cadburys hot chocolate is shit, have a dolce gusto in the attic, was okay but it seemed pretty limited.

Might be okay then if you can use other brands now. When I sampled it, it was Tassimo's own coffee capsules and it wasn't good!

My brother recently bought one of these, he loves it. We have the dolce gusto, but you must used nescafes own satchels, and its okay, but i believe with the tassimo you can use a few different types, 1 being costas ones,

Just to warn you, the Coffee "Experts" will be along soon trying to get you to buy a grinder, beans grown on virgin's thighs, and traditional espresso machine.


Guessing tho, like me you want decent quality with ease of use, no major cleaning, and messing about etc?

Firstly, imo the Tassimo coffee is shite!! The only capsule nmachine to even consider is the Nespresso machines. You can get the milk "Aerrocino" too. You can then easily froth/heat milk to make a great hot chocolate.

I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I do have the occasional coffee, but I also like a nice hot chocolate :o which I don't think the Nespresso machines can do?

Anyone got a Tassimo machine?
