Should be like a pond pump. 2 pipes and a large black item will be having power fed to it and will have a place that you can put a screw driver in to turn it up or down.

There is a blue plastic triangular box in the cupboard with some red flashing lights on :o

Not sure what that is, not at home to have a look either.

I long for such a powerful shower.

James, I'm coming down to Surrey to have a shower at yours. :0

Will most likely be some service valves somewhere. Just knock them back a bit.

You may have an additional pump in the water cupboard that you can turn down

You'll be able to get some sort of head that restricts it.

You also get the apparent water saving things that screw on before the hose and restrict it.

I've moved into a new flat and the shower is ridiculously powerful. I like a powerful shower, but at times it can even be quite painful!

Any idea how I change this? FYI I have no idea what kind of shower it is but all I can see on the wall is the on/off knob and the temperature knob so I'm guessing it's all built into the wall which probably isn't good news?

Thanks,
James
