Adds an extra £25 a month to your leccy bill :o Mines £35 a month for the entire house, fook adding an extra £25 just for one item :|:| Although in the scope of things, it aint that bad

when i first got it, i actually thought yea this is great but give it a week and i wont use it, but i was wrong, its brilliant, theres nothing better than getting home from a long night (2pm-9pm) at work, having a shower then jumping in. Its so relaxing.

They are nice but I can imagine the novelty wears off after a while. For £300 its not so bad though!

One of my mates has a proper wood and fibreglass one in his back garden on an ex council estate FFS

Haha, ive been in a proper one, and ok, the lay z spas dont look as good, and there not quiet as powerful, but for the sake of about an extra cost of 4 grand, even tho i cant afford it, i wouldnt bother

I want a hot tub when I finally get a house but was planning on getting one of the big ones they used to have in homebase for about 2k. Well my cunning plan was to request it as our wedding gift from everyone, have a kitty set up where everyong can contribute what they want.

Good to see running costs are not too harsh thou :)

Buy yourself a lay - z - spa!!

Having owned mine for a while now, i can say it is one of the best things ive ever bought. Great value for money, and extremely enjoyable.

There really not that expensive to run. i bought a chemical kit for £30 with it, and ive not even used a 1/4 of it in 2 months now

The electricity useage is not tooo bad. Initial heating cost was next to nothing (around 1.50) as i filled from the hot tap, took an hour to fill. It is roughly dropping 7 degrees overnight, so from 40 to 32/33, it then takes 4 hours to reheat (2kwh heater = 8kwh) which roughly adds 80p a day to my bill. £25 quid a month tops if you use it daily, if like me you only use it 3/4 times a week it will be less if u just keep it topped up on heat for 2 hours a day!

So, if your considering one do it! If your not, start considering it! :P
