Yep mortgage refusals are up 70% on the previous year. Apparently its going to remain so until 2011 - something I read said anyway! :look: | |

the reason so little is moving just now is down to the banks not approving mortgages. | |

There hass supposedly been a 6% drop in prices, yet houses round my way are 10/12% higher than when I bought my house 13months ago. The house two doors up has just sold 18months after it was bought, it hasn't been renovated or anything and it sold at 12.9% higher than 18 months ago. | |

Will be looking to buy come May onwards 2009. Will house prices still be around what they are now, as surely they cant fall by much more? Also are these incentive schemes going to carry on like deposits paid, huge discounts on new properties etc? |
