I wasn't impressed with the Ikea beds I looked at/bounced on. I ended up getting a big divan thing from my local carpet/bed shops. | |

ikea beds aren't standard size, so you have to use their own mattresses with them too. | |

Argos, isn't there some sort of end of catalouge sale at tho moment? I know my mate got a £600 mattress for £300 about 2 weeks ago from argos. | |

Bedsons, I have an Argos double bed that I bought for my room at uni (Didn't want to spend too much and it only had to last 3 years) - I've still got it, it doesn't creak and no bits have broken off, its a pretty sturdy bed and I'm impressed considering ti was only meant to be a cheap, short term thing | |
