I don't use my heating anymore. Just can't keep up with all these increases.

Gonna be freezing my arse off this winter.

Im sick of it all to be honest, things wont get better here as as times goes on and maybe even now, we are sourcing our fuels from far far away.

Quotes like 'Help the poor' really do wind me up! How do you determine between the poor who work there arses off to make ends meet and the 'poor' who sit on there arses all day, wont find a job and continue to exploit the system! Will they get the same help, i bet!

Thr government wont be bothered about fuel/energy prices there rich enough for it not to make a difference.

IMO this is all set up for people to stop wasting energy, buy better energy rating products, more economical cars.....list goes on.

People are just going to have to manage some how.

I do think we will see people change their behaviour, I think people will use less energy

I cant change my behaviour anymore, unless I have cold showers and wash my plates and bowls up with cold water?? The heating hasnt been on since I moved into this new house. If its cold we put more clothes on.

quote:
I think people will change the temperature they keep the house, they'll be more cognisant of energy waste, they'll buy better appliances.

Again the temperature in mine is whatever energy the house can hold. It does quite well atm, with the temperature usually around 20 - 21C (no heating on). Where does the money come from for 'better' appliances?

I just dont understand where these companies think the money comes from? Now Im not struggling for money atm, but Im sure there are people out there that are? How do you react to this?
