To be hoest i can sympathise with the guy as i have a similar alley running down side of my house, if you actually owned the house then its tough crap for him imo, but as your only renting maybe not as much say, but on the other hand you are paying to rent the house and the access is your right of way to the property so really you do have the right, just depends if the guy is actually just being anal or if there really has been kids there...probably smoking gear etc..

surly you can make an agreement to put a gate in place to deter kids, your bike would be a tad safer and then everyone would be happy

If the bushes have grown then there could not have been many kids running in and out :

quote: Good for you. TBH though you wont need to go down the overgrown passage bacause the bike is parked out the front of the house. How do you plan on getting past the locks on the wheels, the alarm and the immobiliser though?

Nobody as far as I can tell. They are all growing out from bushes along a public path and the council have said its not their responsibility

No the passage only has access to the 2 middle houses. He has a seperate bit of path with a gate to go into his back garden

As some people might know I have just started renting a place. It's in a terrace of 4 houses and there is an alleyway for access to mine and my neighbours back gardens. It's completely overgrown and so I have started to clear it all. |
