Finished trimming/levelling it, given it a good watering with my hose :lol: Going to tackle the other bit next week, not sure how I'll get that bush out.

Lawn looks better, i dont think a house seems right without a lawn(whatever the size!)
i have a large palm tree in my back garden
its in a pot, had it about 3 years now, does well....

:lol: Got bored and fed up of weeding the bloody thing so...

Was like this when I moved in 2 years ago (awash with colour/lots of plants but tricky to know what was a plant and what was a weed!).



Then I trimmed a lot of the plants back to have it looking like this..



After few months got over grown again, ripped the whole lot of about 3 weeks ago and today did this (taken before I levelled and trimmed!).



Makes garden look a LOT bigger IMO and will be easier for me to look after. Also planning to rip out this big plant below and to grass (poss decking) that area (3x2 metre). The area is a sun trap in late afternoon so will be nice with a couple of chairs there and a beer :)



Will post pics of my palms soon (I love palm trees :lol::o )
