Unless it was stated in any form of contract you dont have a leg to stand on
I had £100 knocked off my house to hire a skip and clear the garage, in the end the skip was £200 and i didnt have a leg to stand on.

well pissed off and need some advice if anyone can help.
we completed our house buy last month on the 24/11/06 and when the surver did his report he found some damp in the kitchen.
anyway after that the estate agents got some company to go out and do a quote for the work doing, it came back and we got told it would £500.
so we asked the sellers to pay but they said no, they would go half and half. we got £250 knocked off the price.
since the 24/11/06 we have been ringing the estate agents to send us the quote for like the last 3 weeks, been to pick it up this mornng instead and the quote price is £710.
rang solicters and they have said its nothing to do with them, take it up with estate agents.
iam well f**ked off, this happened to anyone? what should we do?
p.s sorry for the essay.
