is it an external wall? how high up the wlal is it? is it by the windows? what heating have you got in the room?
how old is the house you moved into?
sounds to me that if you get bad condensation in the window that your problem is ventilation (like myke says) could be cleaned off with a cloth

do you dry washing in there?
are there trickle vents on the window?

sounds like there's water vapour in the air that's condensing on the window.
you need to ventilate.

theres some on the window sill where we get bad condensation in that window (all the others in the house are fine) and some mould has started creeping up the other wall (adjacent to the wall with the window) behind the bed.

Does the wall that has the damp on it have a chimney breast behind it?

is the window right by the mould?

I would get it looked at, it could be just a bit of damp from the window so no biggy. Or it could be a problem with the window and needs fixing. Some mould can be fairly bad for your health so always best to get it seen.

If it was anything bad Id of expected it to come up on the survey though.

we bought it - had a survey and everything was fine, nothing came up.

it is cause of the weather and having the heating on, etc? :boggle:

normall caused by a damp problem.

You renting or bought it? Get a survey done when (if) you bought it?

Discovered loads of mould on the walls in our bedroom this morning.

we've only been living there 2 months and the walls were all freshly painted 2 months ago.

It is behind the bed ( which is against the wall).

anyone know why this is? damp problem? there is a lot of condensation on the window ever morning :boggle:

Thanks
