This is my fire place, excuse the decor as not done yet..But could get this type of thing with different surrounds, mine is a limestone surround.. | |

Same here cosmo, i was going to box off inside the chimney and have a fire bowl but i kept thinking, what if i kicked it and set the living room on fire :lol: | |

something like a fire is one thing I would never try to do myself. Granted those gel fires look easy enough but I personally just wouldnt want to risk it! | |

I would get one then, stainless steel backdrop and tile everywhere else, or if u can afford it buy a marble surround | |

i cannot find a fire place i like so i have decided that i will create my own . |
