As if City even need to spend that  One world class CB and you're sorted.

Plus sales.

We have said it won't impact our transfer dealings.

Lot of the fine suspended and 21 man squad restriction. No real issues as although we registered 23 players this season we only used 21. Also we should break even for the financial year ending 31st May.

Seems to be descending into a farce. No announcement expected today either.

city should challenge it, no way fifa can afford a legal team like city can

I'm all for FFP, to a degree. What I can't get my head round tho is how teams who's fans have been found guilty of racist behaviour only get 15/20k fines?! Surely that's wrong?

PSG getting a £20M fine apparently., load of fucking wank, I hope we challenge the whole thing.

however its seem counter productive to me, when you are trying to get clubs to stop making such huge losses, fining them large amounts of money will just compound the problem no? A bit like banks charging you when you go over your limit. I wonder if that fine would be taken into account for future financial figures.

This is what I think when teams enter administration and are fined. In this case, a £50m fine for a team like City is hardly going to worry them.

FFP is a load of bollocks. Also I think we will soon find out exactly how valid it all is, especially if both us and PSG challenge it in court.

I presume the fine will not be counted otherwise as you say it will compound the problem.

if it is excluded its pointless fining them, specially like ManC who will just get the Shake to pay up.

Unless it really hits them hard then it will show it up for what it is. Something you can abuse and as long as you do well after it you can probably get away with it.

They should have done things like dropping teams back into the qualifiers if they have got automatic qualification (Doesn't sound a lot but it really messes with your pre-season planning)

So City to receive a £50m fine, have a wage cap incurred, and squad limited to 21 players rather than 25 for the CL next year.

Im all up for city to receive massive fines, however its seem counter productive to me, when you are trying to get clubs to stop making such huge losses, fining them large amounts of money will just compound the problem no? A bit like banks charging you when you go over your limit. I wonder if that fine would be taken into account for future financial figures.
