I agree with what danny is saying about lower leauge teams needing more promoting etc

But i dont see anything wrong with people getting intrested in the MLS

Its only the same as being intrested in spanish football or french football

And if it promotes the game more over in the states that would be great

And it is more football on the tv

Would you start watching Liverpool or buying Liverpool shirts if he went and played for them?

I think we all know that would never happen. One of the reasons why hes held so highly amongst United fans.

Why be a fan of one player though :boggle:

I'll be honest, if he never played for Manchester United I wouldn't be too interested, but as he was a big part of the team for so many years its nice to see him playing well. Plus its more footy to watch.

If Lampard, Gerrard etc went over I wouldn't really be that fussed.

There's been a Beckham bandwagon for a decade tbh, i don't see the problem with it, promoting football in America is healthy for the game overall.

Not when some Clubs in our own country could do with some promotion of thier own.

Fair enough like the guy, but why do people suddenly "support" another team just becuase a player they like signs for them?

Whats everybodies facination with the MLS all of a sudden?

Everybody seems to have jumped on the media bandwagon since Beckham has gone over there :boggle:

I personally dont give a shite about it, and im sick of it being all over the TV/Magazines/Radio all the time when that time could be much better used to promote smaller/lower league clubs to increase attendences and get young kids down the grounds.

Instead I see yound lads walking round wearing LA Shirts with Beckham printed on the back

That is true the keepers are pure crap

The outfield players appear to be alright. The keepers are shocking though.
