	From what i've seen from both players and contrary to what most people think Mascherano has looked the better player to me. Every team needs a Midfield lynchpin and he performs the role perfectly for Argentina, one of the best national teams there are.

	He is fundementally a quality player, its worth the risk, if he moves and fits in and shines then it will be a master stroke. That's if they get him playing to his ability.

	Not a bad loan move imo, momo is out and he would not be as much in the limelight as he is at westham. If he settled with us he could be a good addition to the squad and hopefully we could get rid of zeden garcia etc :look:
