Its very true what they say about training with better players, I do that on a monday (:D) night and it has improved my game dramatically!

as long as they know your not looking to join their team, and just want to get better by training with a good team, they wont care, surely :)

pro :boggle:

go to a local park on a sunday morning, find teams training/playing etc.

also does Essex have a local sports newspaper? in ipswich we have the geen'un, loads of local sport, if essex/southend does one, look in there!

Most of my mates play pro / semi pro.. In my area there are loads of teams but not sure on what teams are good / bad etc

I'll have a search around I guess.

ask your mates greg, ask to go to their training, speak to the gaffer, you'll be ok!

well you must know where they play. So it's just a matter of asking the manager what team they are. Then you can look them up on the net and see for yourself.

Do you have any mates that play?

Yeah but im not sure who to go to, where to go, what level they are at etc etc

you're probably better of going along on a sunday and enquiring with the individual teams to be honest.

From what I've seen of the FA site a lot of the information on there tends to be out of date or useless.

There's a link for it on the FA but most of the numbers I tried were all out of date.

Im interested in starting up again, is there a site on the net that has spaces at all the clubs locally etc?

Im really up for it all again but dunno how I can find a team

Cheers guys
