First Merc in the championship for awhile so my guess is its a fresh chassis.

Btcc cracks me up, they're mental drivers.

The whole ballast and grid position thing confuses me though.

Is the merc not just a bodyshell on top of the old car?

Well I see there is an F1 thread so I thought I will start one for (imo a better sport) this seasons btcc! :)

Must admit its looking pretty awesome up to now with ciceley racing moving from a avensis to an a-class Merc and being sponsored by Rob austins old sponsor Wix!

Also 2 past btcc champions rejoining the field, Alan menu (drove for Williams Renault in a laguna) and giovanardi (past won in a vectra c iirc)

Cant wait for the season kick off at brands hatch at the end of march!
