I put a tenner on my seven fold two weeks ago and got 265 back.

I am not that interested in losing money as such, just messing around. So if I only win small, but dont run out I am happy, just to fight off boredom in work...

a bit peeved, 9 out of my 10 picks won this weekend, but I am refusing to top up till payday! If it wasnt for Monaco it would have been a clean sweep!

Well that wasnt a bad way to end the day, caught the Villarreal match as they scored their first coal and finished the day with €45, not a bad way to end the day when I started with only €10 :D

Yes, the accumulator would need all selections to win.

The trebles is 10 separate 3 team bets, so would be a €10 stake and would be 31 Euros maximum, should they all win

Gsi_Ire

Based on that

€1 Accumlator will only pay out €6.54 but a €1 Treble (10) could pay out €31.30 ?

The idea being that if my 5 team doesnt come in, so long as i get 3 right, it covers the cost of my bets with usually a small profit.

OK, using that rule of thumb

Montpellier (17) V Monaco (2) (Monaco to win, 24 points ahead of Montpellier)
Ajaccio (20) V Paris Saint Germain (1) (PSG to win, 35 points ahead of Ajaccio)
Hull (10) V Chelsea (3) (Chelsea to win, 20 points ahead of Hull)
Tottenham (6) V Crystal Palace (18) (Tottenham to win, 20 ahead of Crystal Palace)
Espanyol (10) V Real Madrid (3) (Real Madrid to win, 19 ahead of Espanyol)

Ah. kk. So the 45 return would be if they all won, but not all of them have to win to get a return.

that site is blocked in work, but will have a look tonight.

thanks

That is correct :)

A Super Heinz is basically a cover bet. Its 7 selection wager consisting of 120 bets: 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds and a seven-fold accumulator.

So a quid on that would be a £120 bet with all the options covered.

Sorry, last question. you have been so helpful!

I understand Accumulator (7) means the money from one rolls on to the next and they all have to win. but whats does Accumulator (4), (5) or (6) work?

:0

Like a treble/double, just it does 4 teams, 5 teams and 6 teams.

All of them.

The reason you're getting less back is because you taking less risk. Only 2/7 need to win to get something back.

Usually you wouldnt do a double on a 7 team selection unless the odds were pretty big.

Ok, that kind of makes sence. So at the moment it the double (21) option will cost me 21 with a possible return of 45. To get that 45 how many teams have to win??

JonnyJ

posted on 6th Jan 14 at 13:26

A double in a 7 team bet basically covers all the possible two team bets you could do within that 7 team selection.

EG>

TEAM 1
TEAM 2
TEAM 3
TEAM 4
TEAM 5
TEAM 6
TEAM 7

Doubled would place a bet for

TEAM 1&2
TEAM 1&3
TEAM 1&4
TEAM 1&5
TEAM 1&6
TEAM 1&7
TEAM 2&3
TEAM 2&4

etc etc etc. until all permutations are covered. You need at least 2 teams to win to get anything back but as your stake will most likely be small on each bet, you might need more than 2 to win to make a profit. If you say stake a 0.10 double then it places a 0.10 bet on all the possible double permutations.

A treble is the same just with 3 teams.

Super Heinz is described here

I'm sure one of the other lads can explain it even more simply if my reply is a bit of a scramble! :0

AlexSXI

posted on 6th Jan 14 at 13:21

Double (21) means there are 21 different 'double' combinations that could win. So if you put £1 on this bet, you'll actually stake £21 and you will receive a return if 2 teams win, more if 3 win, more if 4 win etc etc because there are more double combinations.

Same theory with the rest.

If you want to just do an accumulator you pick accumulator (7), put the stake in there and place bet.

Gsi_Ire

and sorry, another stupid question, if you pick two teams, but bet on the double, only 2 have to win?

Hi Folks,

I am just messing around with ladbrokes and some footy based betting, nothing serious.

But I did get bored and picked 7 fixtures across EPL, Spain and France next weekend. If gave me a load of options.

I am going to show how green I am with all this.....

Double (21) - How can you have a double when you have 7 matches?
Treble (35) - Same as above

I got loads of options for accumulator, but I thought you only had one choice with this type of bet.... let it roll and the all must win??
Accumulator (4)
Accumulator (5)
Accumulator (6)
Accumulator (7)

Super Heinza?!?!?!?
