Your right in a way, yes they have set rules but each case is judged on its individual merits. You dont HAVE to play in 75% of your national teams matches to get a work permit and most of the time the decision will seem fairly random, it's all down to the panel. | |

Some african guy got a work permit for Partick Thistle with the greatest of ease after never playing a game for his country, it's all dependant on who's on the panel, doesn't mean it's dodgy at all. | |
