Can't say I have, my view on football is contradictive to how I live everyday life in general, I try to enjoy each game of football as much as possible because there will be a time where I can't kick a ball anymore, whether it be because of a bad injury or just old age, so I take every chance of a game.
Whereas in general I just plod on through life and just chill.

When you get to a certain age football is all about enjoyment...

I play on a Sunday as well as a Saturday...my Sunday league team play in a poorer standard but I enjoy it more as its with a good bunch of lads...

Still enjoy Saturdays football but I get where your coming from...

Chessington Utd, they were the worst team ever! Went and watched them v AFC Wimbledon the previous week and they lost 8-0 i think. Following week turned up, me and two mates were starting at centre back and them both centre mid. Held the team that were 2nd 1-1 for 85mins, lost 2-1. They were the worst run team ever!

Yea not too far. Its about enjoying it at the end of the day, plus most of our prem teams are fall of semi-pro players but im playing with my mates! Love it :D

I just want to enjoy my football now, something I haven't done for ages :( Did you play for Chessington United or Hook? I played against Hook couple seasons ago in the Surrey senior cup we won 1-0 then went onto lost 2-1 against Sutton :(

Edit to say I played for Egham Town, not far from you :)

Yep, started playing down at Burnham FC and then Chessington, just didnt get the same buzz out of it as I do on a sunday playing with all my mates. It just felt like I was wasting most of my saturdays and not getting much in return. Since then my sunday team has reached the prem and im loving it! Pretty injury prone so can manage playing sunday mornings with just training in the gym. :)

Sad story really, just don't have the passion and desire to play anymore. I've felt like this for a good season really and this season hasn't started too well at a new club. I peaked couple of seasons ago and played Southern league football (same as unibond and ryman) but after that I ended back in sussex senior county football. However that went belly up really and I moved around a few clubs. This season I signed for a highly fancied team in the west sussex premier league and I really haven't had that buzz nor desire to go and win. Really think I'm going to play sunday football for a while and maybe give up completly.

Anyone else feel/got like this before?:(
