Iirc the Selphy range uses bespoke toner and paper, so printing cost is staggeringly high.

I still have no idea if you're making 100 prints a month or 100 prints a day.
If the former go inkjet, if the latter go laser.

Right, you edited it. Go for a laser printer then.

Laser for running costs.

Depends on what and how much you're going to print.
Neither is going to smudge.

Like I said its club photography, so when people go to nightclubs they pay for the little keyrings.

As for how much, depends could be anywhere up to 100 in a night I suppose.

Looking at the Canon Selphy range atm as they seem to be decent

After a little advice,

I need a printer that can printer keyring photos ( 40mmx32mm )

this is for club photography so looking for the best of both worlds, not a massive cost but reasonably quick and not gonna smudge?

Would prefer a printer that I can just plug my Canon 1200d into, but this doesnt matter too much.

Any advice is appreciated
