I'm not sure.

Layout and sheer size of images is a big improvement.

Usability, layout and speed is a big step back imo.

I think it's brilliant.

Where do you get the £49.99 a year? when I check I can only see option for 3months or 2 years which is $44.95 so only around £30 for the 2 years.

one thing I am struggling to find though is how to cancel the auto renew.

in terms of layout I like parts and dislike others, does seem to be alot slower than it used to be though.

Really not keen. Looks cheap, and as Balling said, its slow.

agreed, looks nice but is slow so its fucking me off at the moment. Almost as slow as photobucket which is pretty damn slow

Seems to have been incredibly slow and unstable ever since the overhaul.

Does look nice, though. And it was long overdue.

I agree, the facelift looks miles better!

I like it :) Nice and modern.

I never had a pro account before. I came close, but never needed it. I certainly shouldn't need it now.

I'm guessing most of the Flickr regulars will have seen the news? I'm a but annoyed as I only renewed my pro membership a couple of weeks ago and I can safely say the new free account is more than sufficient for my needs. The only downside is you see ads (probably resolved with an ad block update) and you will no longer get the stats show on your account. I really don't think the £49.99 per year subscription is worth it unless your photography is a dependable source of income.

Anyone else considering ditching their pro account in favour of the new free account? 1tb of storage and full size resolution uploads/downloads are now included too which was the main reason I purchased pro.
