Tesco sell these for £10 btw, I managed to break mine but nothing alittle superglue didn't cure

Looks similar to the one I got from Argos for £20. Pretty sturdy things for the price imo :cool:

Edit: just got mine. That is a serious bargin for anyone wanting a tripod. Was expecting it to be a bit cheap but really good quality :D

When I started I got a £20 Velbon plastic tripod from John Lewis with a 5KG max-load and for everything I've used it for its been great.

That said, I much prefer using my metal manfrotto monopod :cool:

Good call, i've been after a cheapo tripod for ages just to try some things out, will have a nose around ASDA tomorrow, they had a cheap gazebo there too (not for photography)

its very sturdy with mine and my sisters cam on.really good build aswell.i was suprised how well it was made when i got it out the box.

Sounds like a decent price as a stop gap tripod to leave in the car on the offchance you may need one.

Anyone know how much a D300 and a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 weight? I think it may be over the 2kg limit for this tripod :lol:
