cheers for the advice managed to get a full version of it im going to set this a a little project over the weekend now

First thing to do is download the trial version of Photomatix.

Then goe out and take 3 photos on a tripod:

1 x overexposed for shadow detail + 2 stops
1 x normal exposure
1 x underexposed for highlight detail - 2 stops

Make sure you use Aperture priority or manual mode as you don't want the camera changing the aperture for each shot.

Load them into Photomatix and hit tone mapping.

Tweek and play,

save

done.

High dynamic range

You take 3 - 7 pictures. +/- 1 or 2 stops each photo, taken using a tripod, put together using photoshop or equivalent.

Google it, you'll find shit loads of tutorials and photos and info :thumbs:

what the fuck does HDR stand for and how do i go about creating a HDR image :lol:
