He's using Av to go to f22 and ensure he gets the longest shutter possible for that exposure.
If he were to use Tv, he would either not make full use the aperture and get too short an exposure, or go too long and over-expose as the lens can't stop down that far.

why is he shooting in AV mode when it is movment he is trying to capture :boggle:
