Adam any chance does your camera have a little round thing with arrows and an OK on the back?? if you press ok the screen display comes on then press across right to Zoom in and across left to zoom out :|

wont help as you'll still get a shit picture as i have a Kodak aswell but use my dads HP for photos more (kodak only gets used as a backup plan really)

there is no mode.... just three resolution options....

these are cropped, from 'best' quailty.... 1 with fill flash

point is adam it's a low resolution small CCD camera. I'm suspecting light was crap giving it a grainy feel. you need good soft light and a good aperture for sharpness. also try getting the subject in focus to startwith

'sharpened' to the point of starting to go a bit grainy - using MS photodraw

this pic was taken on my bro's camera..... 5+MP with decent zoom etc

the diff in quality is obvious....

nothing i can do?

i took these pics (orig 1184x888 )

this is an orig (scaled down by CS

i then edited the pics. Cropped them to size and turn'd the brightness up...

and re-sized (just chagned aspect ratio really, as it wasnt quite 640x480)

With the camera that i was using (very shit Kodak CX6200 2.0 MP, no zoom) how the hell can i make the pics sharper without making the final picture smaller?
