if you make it 300dpi its not very big

Tiger

Well, the images on photoshop are bigger than the screen, cant remember what the res is though.

vibrio

Tiger

Roughly 1mb images and size wise 1500 x 1200 pixels in PS.

how big are the images. my 8.2mp tiffs are about 25mb. B&W will be smaller than a colour scan and if they are saved in gray scale they will be even smaller

Ive emailed them now, I shall let you know the outcome.

Tiger

Well, this is the thing. According to the site they are supposed to be 17MB and .tiff format yet the CD's they sent me are only about 1MB per image so I shall be getting in touch with them to find out whats happening.

vibrio

what sort of size are the scans?

Tiger

posted on 17th Dec 05 at 21:29

The scans to CD were a tenner each though so theres a large bulk of the cost.

vibrio

christ that is expensive. I got mine done round the corner from uni lol

Tiger

Well, I use Lab35 - they are bloody good I have to say if a little expensive. Check their site for exact costs but for 2 x 15exp rolls develop and process, high res scan to CD and 3 contact sheets and 5 x 7 prints came to £47

ah scans lol. thought the B&W looked a bit too nice. think my monitor needs recalibrated as they have a green cast. how much the processing cost. my 135 B&W is £10 how much for 120

1/60th @ f16 on a 35mm lens at infinity on a Mamiya 645.

At least thats what I had set up for the top pic. All the pics were taken on the same lense, ive not got the specifics with me for the rest, I did note them though.
