Indeed.

Any published focal length suffers from the crop factor, even though some lenses are EF-S fitment and only designed for 1.6 crop bodies, they all share a common focal length scale.

yes the 1.6 still works for thpse so my 10-22 becomes a 16-35

Now i know the canon, 350d, along with others has a 1.6x crop factor when used with an ef lense, such as a 28-105, so this makes it appear to be a 44.8-168.

But with an ef-s lense, the ones designed for digital, so like the crappy 18-55 and the more expensive 10-22, do you have to apply the 1.6x crop factor to them or has the manufacturer already taken this into account?
