I'm gonna be selling my Pentax Optio SV with 128mb memory card, for £200.

Don't use it anywhere near enough to justify having it any more (and i'm skint)

yeah theres no point in getting an old camera , go for the new one when its out will be better.

No where seems to have them in stock for less than £200 now. At one point you could get them close to £150. So for a bit extra I think I will just get the new S5600

done some more research into them last nite and probably going to get the 5600, as it has quite a few extra features over the previous model. not sure if i will stretch to the 9500

5600 is a newer camera and better over all. particularly at the long telephoto end as the lens has a larger aperture compared to the 5500

5500 is available for around 180-200 delivered, and 5600 is 260ish. for the sake of 1MP i would probably go for the 5500 and get more memory/batteries.

Hmm I dont think I really need the extra pixles to be honest. I only really have an interest so not sure if I can justify spending that much

up to you whether you want to pay the extra for the extra MP. for 360 you can get the S9500 (newly released 9MP) but then you will need a memory card, and batteries on top of that

yeah Ive got 300 to spend so want a camera for 250 then the rest on the card etc.

What do you think of the new Fuji S5600?

Worth paying the extra compared to the S5500?

Thanks for any help

I was going to buy the Fuji S5000 (think thats the correct model number) but I was wondering if anyone can reccomend a better one for a little bit more? Or should I just stick with the Fuji?
