when prompted, simply click cancel, this will let you use the other computer. even though it does prompt, it shouldnt need it.

this computer prompts for a username and password to connect to both of the other computers even though i have no access rights set up...

I have a machine on the home network running win2k pro with the printer installed on it. I set it up as a shared one with no access rights/open to everyone, and when i try to connect to it with the other computers (both XP) it propts for a username and password. I tried changing the printer so it needed a username and password, entered that and it doesnt work still. Same with shared folders. Can anyone help me out with this?! I need to print some photos off to take to the bodyshop asap! Cheers, Matt
