Do u need to upgrade your motherboard to upgrade your processor? I have a fairly good PC but it has a slow processor.

Yeah DDR is recommended...

no DIMM's are different from DDR, so you cant use them on a system which requires DDR ram.

Ya will need to get some DDR with the rest if your planning on upgrading

hi i need to upgrade my PC. just wanna get a new motherboard and processor. around a 2.2GHZ would do me... anyway, in my PC now i have three sticks of DIMM memory, 64+64+128... im confused because where ive looked online (dabs, overclockers, simply...) most motherboards seem to be using DDR memory.

is this the same thing? some have both DIMM and DDR slots, and ive been told you cannot mix the types. but for instance, on overclockers.co.uk there are loads of motherboards using DIMM/DDR slots, does this mean i can put _either_ DIMM or DDR in?

HELP!
