You only need 3 really. get some 120mm ones.

On blowing in at the front, exhaust at the top and one at the back. If desired 2*80mm blowing from the cpu/gpu side area

hmm yes. some new motherboards have safety features which shut the PC down if it gets to hot. But if not a pc can become unstable if the CPU becomes to hot.

its about time i put some more fans in my comp as i only have one outside fan. My comp crashes every now and again i think mainly due to 1 power fan in my comp!!! Can a pc crash if it gets too hot?

i think i understand what you mean. Yeah its fine to have as many of these connecters as you like. it shouldn't affect your hard drive because it is done in parralel and the voltage stays the same. the current should stay the same across the hard drive because it will draw more current from the psu.

right the fans i bought shud supposedly come with two 4 pin connectors which we pass the power from the main comp leaving one free to plug in hdd etc. Is it ok to have around 5 of these passing pins in my comp if u get me????
