very addictive, considering how old it is :) but yea, you need a cd-key to get it working, each key is unique, thus 2 or more ppl using the same key can not play online :(

i typed in counterstrike on kaazaa.its came up wit a 500meg ish file saying counterstrike (half life is not required) wat u think of that then!?

i had the half life disk loaned to me and counterstrike is on there, counterstrike is basically a sub game which uses the format of half life. i think it is available for ownload on the net, sumthin like counterstrike.net

anyway you need to get the CD key for half life for it to work i believe
