You can't get 3G reception in most places anyway, so they just revert back to regular 2G. Better of letting the technology develop before buyin. | |

3G phones use a completely different waveband to normal phones, and no, you cant 'unlock' them cos there's nothing that will run on the waveband the phone is designed for. | |

No mate they cant be unlocked cos 3G sim cards use a different voltage to regular market sim cards, thats why there so secure. I was gonna do same with mine but my mates a phone technican and said thats one of the things they kept in mind while developing the 3 phones, Only can use 3 sim cards in. | |
