Anyhow, using that link I gave you, follow the link at the top, which points to here:

http://helpdesk.uvic.ca/how-to/support/win95/msiexpl.html

which then has a link to the full ie6sp1 package:

http://helpdesk.uvic.ca/how-to/support/win32/MSIEXPL/ie60sp1.exe

muppet. :D

No, but I need the seperate setup files.

I cant use that downloader which I told you before, the other reason for it which I really shouldnt have to explain if people had read what I originally wrote, I have XP Pro so cant use the installer as in its helpful manner windows automatically wants to download the XP/2000 version and wont let me get the 98 version.

WHY cant u use the installer, as per the instructions above to download all the setup files. You then put this on a CD or whatever and take it to your friends PC, put it in the drive, and run setup from the CD which has all the files necessary hence not needing to use her slow dialup.

Is it really that hard?

The link you gave me XLR8 was for the installer, that if you read through you will find need to then download seperate files later on, so enough of the muppet please.

Kazaa only has the installers too, and the ones that supposedly work dont.

Let me re-iterate. I need the full download from a website, if anyone knows of it then tell me, other than that I have tried all other options.

I am not that stupid Motorspeed, I have looked on the Microsoft website yet they dont have the end user installer they have their own installer which is 479kb, you download that then it goes and downloads everything you need for it, yet because the computer it needs to go on has a slow connection I cant do that.

I may have to go with Sams idea of getting a magazine, but surely there is a copy knocking about on the net.

Alright,

I am looking for a place where I can download the entire Internet explorer 6, I cant use the downloader because the computer it needs to go onto has only got a slow connection so a full end user version is needed, but I'll be buggered if I can find one.

If anyone can help out that would be great, also looking for the update to it aswell, SP1 for IE6.

Cheers,
Sean.
