From memory, WinME has terrible memory-management...

If you're doing a few things at once, it'll slow down to a crawl (and yes, before you ask, I have used WinME before......and Win3.11, Win95, Win98, Win98SE, WinNT4, Win2k Pro, WinXP to compare it against)

you know fuck all.
Now go put your burberry cap on and fuck off back down the hole you crawled out of

if you can get hold 98, on a low spec machines its the best around. try 2k or XP.

Si

My computer is on 24 hours a day mate. I must use it for at least 6 hours a day.

True, WinME never has been the best of their releases (if there is such a thing as a decent version of Windows in the first place)! :D

Which sound-card are you using? I had the same problem in Win2K Pro, when using the onboard sound-card on my motherboard......as soon as I switched over to an Audigy-2, it worked fine! :)

I have found that when playing games or listening to music
tracks the sound is played at an increased speed as if its
on double speed, any ideas how i can sort this - cheers
