if u burn it as MP3 its about file size. if u want to play it on Cd player in car or hifi, it burns it in DAT format i think, and its about the time.

Won't that only write it as one track though with 165 breaks in it or will it pick up the individual tracks?

All i want to do is burn 700mb worth of mp3 or as damn near as possible to a cd, all the software i'm using is telling me that i can only get 74mins worth, it won't read it as megabytes. If i burn the disc as a data disc rather then an audio cd will this do what i want?? Will it read the mp3 files in my mp3 player like that.

It sounds like the program is converting your mp3 files into the files that your hifi will read automaticaly instead of it burning the mp3 files directly to the cd.

I'm using some thing called Acoustica, seems to work okay but when i add tracks to the list it tells me that i'm over the time limit of the disc, i can understand this if it looks at it in time format but its only letting me have 18 tracks on the disc.

I thought these things worked by megabytes not minutes, i should be able to get shed loads on a 74min disc surely, i've been able to burn 20 track discs with .wav format in the past. If my average length mp3 is 4mb, i should be able to get fcking loads on it????
