Easiest option is a POE camera, depending on distance but you can use some Veracity POE extenders if your going past the 100m distance, they will see you good for unto 800m (dependant on requirements).

can measure distances with Google maps to get a rough idea.

POE and just place the injector as close as possible; as long as you're under 100m then you should be fine.
Otherwise, wireless camera running off battery and solar panels.

We need to position a camera on our property but its quite far from power, does anyone have any experience with rigging something up like this? (Nismo mayb?)

I'm open to suggestions, was thinking of possibly running some long shielded cat5 runs and power the camera off POE? :cool:
