That Asus has a slightly low screen resolution that might not be high enough - 1366 x 768.
I've got a 2012 Macbook Air sat in a drawer you could have for that - largely the same spec as that Asus but with an SSD drive (which makes all the difference).
Core i7, 8gb RAM, 256gb SSD, IntelHD 4000 graphics - brand new battery and 1440x900 screen; was serviced under AppleCare (now expired).

Hi,
I'm after a little assistance.
We recently bought a GoPro which has software that needs more than our current laptop can offer. This isn't an issue as we needed to upgrade to a new one really anyway.
Looking on the GoPro website it notes the following minimum requirements:
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7, 8.x
Recommended CPU: Intel Quad Core™ i7 or better
Graphics Card: Graphics card that supports OpenGL 1.2 or later
Recommended for 4K editing and playback: Intel HD4000 or better (or similar class graphics card)
Screen Resolution: 1280 x 800
RAM: 4GB
Hard Drive: 5400 RPM internal drive
Recommended 7200 RPM drive or SSD
We won't be using the laptop for much more than editing photos, GoPro, general browsing and the odd bit of Microsoft Office work.
I've seen the following laptop which I think ticks all the boxes - http://www.ebuyer.com/697232-asus-x555ld-laptop-x555ld-xx056h
Please can you have a quick look and confirm whether you think it meets the necessary requirements for GoPro?
Can anyone suggest anything different for the same price?
All help is much appreciated.
