Most games will download a day or two in advance, but it'll say so on the page.
Why purchase it digitally though? It's going to be cheaper in the stores, which will also give you the option of trading it in later.

Hi guys,
I see i can pre-order project cars on PSN for PS4.
MY question is if i pre order it will it start to download the day of release or will it download a couple days early so its ready to go on release day ?
The reason i am asking is my internet is terrible and dont want to wait all release day on the download.
