Lower resolution, lower FPS, lower underwater depth rating are just a few most obvious things that jumped out on quick glance.

Where each product is made doesn't have any impact on the components being used. If he's claiming its an re-badged gopro he wants bumming.

You get what you pay for imo....

How are these things....

My friend has said they are made in the same factory as go pros and basically the same thing. I'll have to research a little. More of an impulse buy over actually wanting one ha

As Graham said, check Ebay because you'll get a Gopro2 (used) for similar money.

You can still add a battery pack to that GoPro1 by the looks of it

I got one, it's alright, have to make sureyou charge it the night before coz the battery is shit and goes flat when left for a week. Tbh my £80 lidl cam is better specced and generally better all round.

At least I can be all scene with my 'pro' bro..

Seems decent enough, not as full of features as some of the other models though. Ie no wifi capability, battery is fixed and not-swappable so something to bear in mind. I haven't used any but looked into it when it came out as i thought it might be cheap enough to have a play about with.

In depth specs are here

£94 from currys.

Any good? I will only be using it for driving stuff, not going underwater etc.

Or do I hold out a bit more cash for the Hero 3? Its £168 as listed here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GoPro-Hero-3-White-HD-Video-Camera-Go-Pro-Hero3-CHDHE-302-UK-Seller-/271713806634?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4367a92a

Any advice on the £94 would be sound!
