Sorry folks this should be in geek day. :(

Anyway my kitchen is pretty large, my mother in law has a play 1 and play 3 I am not to keen to be honest and want to be a bit different.

The bowers and Wilkins kit allows you to add multiple speakers but I don't intend to. I have other set ups around the house that can handle airplay just fine.

This thing will be used for kitchen and the back garden in the summer.

I know it's not. Don't get me wrong the 5's sound brilliant, I just don't see the value at over double the price. The 3 is a good compromise on overall sound and price.

Agreed, the play 1 should be more than enough unless your kitchens huge.

Firstly should be in geek day but I started a thread for this before. Sonos seemed the best because of been able to connect multiple speakers with a bridge.

OK so i am buying a wireless speaker for my kitchen initially i thought there was only really Sonos out there so i was going for a play 5 @ £350. After some research there are a number of other brands that can do the same job. so here are my options :- any experience or opinions welcome.

Sonos Play 5 = £350
Bose Soundtouch 20 = £300
Bower & Wilkins A5 = £300

What would you go for ?
