Thanks Will that's helpful. Picture quality ok? No blurring when watching sports?

i bought that samsung 50'' the other month and its great. apart from it being slow to navigate its really good. 3d isn't something i use but its okay for a film or two once in a while, but just a gimmick really... really rate the tv though!

I have a 55" D8000 Samsung (has hardly no frame) and totally agree with Bart.

quote: Do you know what you actually want? Obviously its the most for your money. I have similar features on my media player and close friends who have both smart TVs and 3D TVs. Everything is so cumbersome and doesn't ever get used. Youtube might be about the only thing, but searching on a small remote typing letters in is a bit shit and the novelty will wear off after the 2nd or 3rd go. Having just seen a brand new LG smart TV, I have to say I think its still got a long way to go. I would personally be sinking my money into a better quality TV rather than something mediocre with shiny bells and whistles. Just my 2 pence ofc.

quote: Any idea what is best? I'd say a smart TV is a higher priority than say 3D. Be nice to have as much features as possible though.

I want to buy a 50" smart tv and have £750 as a budget and not a penny more. |
