You know, if it's a popular single you can download them by searching on google a lot of the time.

For example, if you wanted Scream & Shout by Will.i.am

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=scream+and+shout+4shared

Top result, ready to download :) You just need to stick a share site name on the end like "4shared" or somethin like that.

http://beemp3.com seems to have a lot of tracks too. Depends what you're after I guess.

It's more for slapping music on disk Brett :)

Cheers guys, Will just need to search albums with the tracks, I can see it been a long night! I have a rather large list to get done by Saturday for someone's house party

amazon, bandcamp, hdtracks (need a US proxy, fair amount of content), juno records. Someone pointed me to melodishop.com the other day, yet to check it out fully though but they apparently offer music various formats (ie: lossless) which is handy.

If you want to hooky it then use soulseek.

In the past when I've been stuck finding a single track I've found the album with the track on torrents, then you can tell it to only download the track you want.

Google play. Haven't come across anything I can't find as yet.

I've downloaded a piece of software called Youtube-MP3. Which rips the song. But obviously you have to find decent uploads.

A song is $0.99 on iTunes. :|

I usually only want them to listen to on my phone so I have an app installed called TubeMate that I can rip directly to my phone on. Might not be of use to you though.

When using torrents, have you tried just finding the album then selecting the single track you want from it?

Where's everyone downloading single tracks from? Half the music I cannot find on torrents :(

I remember back in the day there was something like bearshare, something along them line still about?
