Oooh interesting.

My HTC One S has a pretty large screen and all the apps I need to live e.g. banking, social. The only problem is web browser on non-mobile sites.

I thought about the Nexus 7 but it isn't much bigger and all apps would be the same.

This 10" one is sensible money though as opposed to the Samsung or iPad.

no no, my point is it physically looks cheap, i get that it is quite cheap

No I understood mate, I was merely pointing out that in order to to produce it cheaply the materials are going to be some what lacking and whilst design can play a part there's only so much you can polish a turd.

Nexus 7 is brilliant, really impressed with it for the money

Downloaded full maps with postcode search (does not use data),

Dr Dre beats (improves sounds)

Utorrent- Well......what you think I need this for?

Other plans are OBD2 to connect to car, Stick mount- use USB pens on it and also internet dongles!

Sorted

They should make one with the smaller bezel so the overall size is smaller but I guess you wouldn't be able to hold it without pressing the screen.

Will have a look at one in a shop but might finally get a tablet, bezel looks a bit big, will depend how it looks in real life. An iPad bezel is big as well.

Shocking unless you want scaled up phone apps with lots of unused space.

Will get better now though.

Mate I just got the 32GB version of the Nexus 7 yesterday night before official launch. Its awesome! The app store is brilliant, actually much easier to use than crappy itunes.

Just figuring everything out as I have an iphone.

I can really see why people have Android phones though etc, its super

10.1 inch
Android 4.2
2560x1600 (300ppi)
£319 for 16GB

Been thinking of getting a Nexus 7 for a while, for the price and portability factor. But there's not that many places I go where I'd need it, so for an extra £120, this looks perfect, as a replacement for whacking the laptop out for a quick browse.

Not used Android before, but what's the Play Store like for tablet apps?
