I have both. Prefer the PS layout, but you do get used to the chunkier 360 controller and then the PS3 one feels flimsy!

Were is this from thinking about changing from a 360 to PS3 are the graphics the same on each? As in between the 360 and ps3

As already said, its surprising how quickly a 40GB gets full. I wouldn't worry about having the new slim and pick up a full size/slim for a bargain price.

Really only want the ps though. Anyone seen anything cheap?

owners of the 12GB model will be able to connect a 2.5 inch SATA internal hard drive with use of an official Mounting Bracket, or opt for purchase of an official PlayStation 250GB internal HDD.

So accessories or a (probably) overpriced Sony HDD is needed. Would quite possibly be cheaper to just buy the bigger version then. Worth looking in to then.

Ah, sorry.

No, not change. Add.
The 12 GB runs flash memory, and I'm pretty sure I read that it's possible to add a HDD so the OS runs from flash but all game data is stored separately.

Cavey

Yeah, as Balling said, I have to delete old data on my 40gb quite often to deal with DLC etc...

But again, as he said, if you can change the HDD then probably the best deal

Balling

I'm pretty sure you can fit an internal 2.5" HDD to the 12 GB, in which case it would be the best buy.

If not, I'd be sorry to have only 12 GB. My 40 GB got filled pretty fast with only game data. Games like GT5 store a massive amount of data locally.

My ps3 died a few months back.

I want a new one. Is the 12gb ok? Never stored anything on mine other than game data.

Cheapest places??
